This 400ml damp seal from Ronseal is ideal for covering damp, water & other household stains, and is a must have purchase for any redecorating project around the interior of your home. It dries in 10 minutes and comes in an easily storable tin can. As it's paintable, it's ideal for colour matching to your existing decor.
- Instructions for Use - Shake the can until you hear it rattle and then keep going for an added minute. Hold it upright around 20-30cm away for the wall or ceiling. Spray from side to side for an even finish. Wait 10 minutes for the first coat to dry, apply a second coat and then a third, leaving 10 minutes between both. Once you have applied three coats, wait 24 hours for the seal to completely dry before you start decorating.

Product is good but only covers small area
It doesn’t cover a large area only small area, plus the price is too much for such a small amount of application. But the product seems to do the job as it says

Excellent stain coverage
A really easy and effective way to cover some old water marks on an internal ceiling. So much easier than brush painting and blends well with existing ceiling paint - no need to re-paint the whole ceiling!

Happy to recommend
This is the second can I've bought of this. The first I used in my own home and it did everything I needed - easy application, covered well, and seems to have sealed against any potential mould issues (wall was treated first as well). I was so satisfied that I bought this second can to give to my sister to use in her home as her landlord was dragging their heels after a leak. The problem area is now almost invisible, and has shown no signs of coming back.

Avoid B&Q collection without ID regardless of age
B&Q wouldn't let us collect it even though we were both covered in paint and in our 30s. Said we couldn't prove we aren't 16? In what world do 16 year olds have a beard and a few grey hairs?
