Applied this to original parquet flooring after sanding back to bare wood and cleaning thoroughly and also wiped with white spirit. Tested large corner and this is a yellow colour left to dry etc and after 3rd coat dried it’s a yellowy dirty brown colour it’s nice at all shame it’s so expensive and you can’t try a tester pot first!
Does what it says on the tin

Very efficient. Good texture, nice colour (as it does not alter the initial wood colour too much)
Easy to use

I chose this colour because I wanted to lighten my room but a little disappointed with the colour it's a lot yellower than I thought. The vanish itself is great, easy to apply, quick drying and tough.

We were advised against the medium oak as were told it can look orange so went for the light oak. Inially it looked quite yellow especially on the odd new floorboard compared to the old ones however after 6 months it has matured and become a really nice natural looking light oak. It is very hardy too, no signs of wear and tear yet... But would expect this based on the price!

We decided to sand two of the rooms in our cottage which had never been done before, not sure how it was going to turn out, we were quite happy but it had lots of imperfections so we decided a clear varnish would not be good enough, after chatting to Peter at B & Q Tonbridge we decided on this product and we are over the moon with the results, I have already told lots of people how good it is, this product is worth every penny especially as a little really does go a long way. Thanks Peter for all your help and advice!
