Product information
You can apply this wood wax from the Ronseal Interior diamond hard range to , using a brush, to colour and provide protection. It takes 20 minutes to dry and will cover up to 16 m² per litre on average.
- Surface Preparation - Use white spirit and a cloth to get rid of any old wax, grease or oil. Sand the surface with 120 grit sandpaper and wipe away the dust once it’s settled. Leave it to dry before waxing.
- Instructions for Use - Our wax is liquid so you’ll need to give it a thorough stir before you use it to even out any lumps. Apply the first coat going in the direction of the grain. Wait one hour for it to dry. For the best results, apply three coats. The final coat will be dry in only 20 minutes. There’s no need to buff between coats and there’s no mess.

It's Green
I bought exactly this product - Ronseal Medium Oak coloured Interior Wax. I was shocked when I opened the tin and discovered it is green, not brown. Nothing like the picture.

Old product was much better.
This new product does not do what it says on the tin! Yes it is Matt finish with a reasonable sheen but its lack of body means its hard to apply evenly. The old product would take a polish and looked like a diamond hard finish. This one is no match regardless of the complex formulation and the usual Ronseal blandishments.Try harder and if you want to advance your products, remember what attracted customers to its first formulation before you tinker.

I love this product
I think this product is great because it’s so easy to apply and it gives a really nice finish. Obviously you will want to do a colour test to make sure it’s right for you. I don’t do very much DIY.

Seems OK so far
Currently only on test piece of wood, but three coats gives a good colour and a nice sheen.

Waste of money
As others have said - bring back the previous brushing wax. The new product does nothing to enhance the look of my doors

Lovely finish
A couple of coats and a lovely finish. Just brush on and leave for a few hours before applying one more coat, giving a lovely natural finish.

Poor Alternative
Ronseal please bring back the brushing wax. This is a poor alternative and definitely does not give the finish of the brushing wax.

Very poor replacement for the excellent brushing wax. Watery with no colour to speak of
