This is dreadful stuff. We have a two car garage. have painted 1/2 the garage with the recommended 10% mix, then three coats... it is just scratching of and lifting away. Even worse when it gets wet - erhh like from the wheel of a car - its fakes away. Total waste of money DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

Whenever I need to buy something for a long and enduring job I always choose Ronseal, it always delivers what it says on the tin. Easy to apply and looks terrific in my new garage.

This is a water based paint with a low odour so it is quite pleasant to do the job with a floor roller. The rollor washes out under the tap which is a great advantage over solvent based floor paint. Beware though that in any cold weather it simply won't dry. Coverage is good, but not quite as good as promised on the tin. Obviously any oil residue on the floor affects the paint coverage greatly, as oil and water don't mix. 2 coats at least are required and it gets expensive if you need to go on to a second tin, as it is £44 a pop. The big problem with the paint is the colour. I bought two tins and the second was much darker, despite prolonged stirring. Not only that, but the colour in the same tin seems unstable, maybe sinkling to the base of the can? You can take the tin you used the day before, stir it up and it will be a markedly different shade. This is a great disappointment. Durability doesn't seem that good and despite being "diamond hard" it scratches very easily in trafficked areas. If there was any oil residue or polished concrete, it simply doesn't stick that well. Overall I found the product rather lacklustre; a typical conversion to modern chemicals for the sake of the environment- a laudable aim of course, but not really a patch on a traditional brand like CooVar.

How easy was that

Good product but best used only AFTER applying PRIMER as a base coat.
