Persevere, it comes right

Its more a silver grey than a charcoal grey, it's a nice shade. The first coat doesn't do much, and it does take three coats at which point it begins to look pretty good. You also do better painting from the bottom of the tub as the mix improves no matter how much you stir it. So not only is the first coat not looking like it is doing much, but it is also at the very thin top of the tub.
It dries super quickly, and in a day there is not much difficulty getting three coats down. If it rains you will be starting again as it probably needs a day to be water resistant. I was more than annoyed to have rain wash all the paint off a fence i painted in green.

I bought this to paint a new shed. The paint is very thin and the colour is significantly lighter than indicated on the label. At the same time I also bought a tub of Cuprinol Ducksback because I liked the colour for another new shed. That was easy to apply and colour was accurate.
Rubbish I've done 2coasts still isn't covered

The colour is a lot lighter than advertised on the outside of the tin and the board.
Not what it says on the tin!

There is no way this colour could be considered as Charcoal. Its 'GREY'. Its so thin and 'wishy washy' it does not cover at all well.
I gave up with it. You get what you pay for!
