Appartently this a "new and improved" product. I've used the non-improved version for years with great results. The new version is as thin as water, translucent, and simply doesn't do what it says on the tin.
The Tudor Black is more pale grey than black. Painting it on the fence panel it ran out of the brush and off the surface like water. Most of it landed on the floor or dripped off my elbow.
I've had to give it 1 star, because I couldn't give it zero stars.
Don't waste your money.
Very poor and does not cover at all

Bought this to go over unstained wood. It is thin and doesn't cover at all.
Have bought other Ronseal products which are fine but this is basically black water.

This paint is far too watery. It drips and splashes everywhere when used with a brush.Purchased it to cover my old shed which was previously stained brown. After 3 coats the brown stain is still showing. This stuff is a waste of money let alone the time so far incurred.Do not buy. You will regret.

Totally watery and refuses to cover over previous stain.

Not as good as the old version which had more of a gel consistency- this is runny like cheap emulsion. Going to need at least a 3rd coat to cover the fence properly.
