Stained my decking last summer by March April the next year the paint had started to come off
This product is like water

Purchased this product today to treat my cleaned back decking, wasted my time and money. I stirred the product before use but it seemed to have the consistency of water, but I decided to give it a try. Treated part of the decking, and left it for a couple of hours to dry, then gave it a second coat. It is certainly not Golden Cedar, in fact it has very little colour. It looks as if it is lacking sufficient colour pigment. Will now have to go and purchase another product to to retreat the decking. It definitely won’t be Ronseal
I like the colour but not very hard wearing

Stained the decking 2 years ago (Cleaned it first and applied two coates) but now very patchy. As I like the colour I will try again.
Poor Coverage Life

I bought this last year to cover my stripped decking to freshen it up. The stain goes on well and I gave it 2 coats as instructed. I bought 3 tins as I had a large area to cover.
Initially, it looked great, but with very little use, the stain has rubbed off in a lot of places. The decking does not have a lot of foot traffic and it was a matter of months before I noticed it was looking patchy. Less than a year later and I will need to do it again as it really looks scruffy. Disappointed.
