I agree with other reviews, that it is more like a varnish than an oil.
It is really hard to remove the excess. It also scuffs and scratches very easily, leaving really visible, unsightly marks.
I wouldn’t us again.

It works.

Used this on a newly sanded floor, and it was simple to apply, a tin goes a long way, and the finish is stunning.

Overall, pretty good.

I have done about half of my solid oak floor with this and so far so good. My floor was looking pretty battered and this has bought it back to life and I am pleased with the result so far. However as with previous reviews I would agree it is more like varnish than oil, it is quite dark and my floor is several shades darker but it does look warmer. It is also quite shiny but is dulling down when completely dry. Make sure you rub of the excess after 15 minutes as advised otherwise it will take several hours to dry, i did not on my first plant was much better when I did. Not a quick job but done properly will be great.

Disapointing purchase

I laid a beautiful B& Q engineered oak floor with a matt finish I was very pleased with the result.
I have since treated it with Ronseal Floor Oil and it has totally ruined the finish.
The floor is streaky and patchy some of it dull and the rest shiny
I am at a loss to know what to do to restore its original classic matt finish
