This product do not do what it says on the tin

I bought this product because of the good reviews.
I painted my fencing in ideal weather and it looked great.
A couple of weeks later when we finally had some rain (not drizzle)
the paint started to become streaking and gradually got worse until
now there is as much of the original colour showing through as there is
Really really disappointing.
Not one coat

Not as good as ronseal used to be. Definitely not one coat. Had to paint every panel twice. Brand new panels. Looks good once finished. But NOT one coat. Might have to try different make next time

I have 40 six foot fence panels previously painted that over the years turned mostly grey. With summer fast fading I absolutely had to re paint them or face a huge bill for replacement fences in the spring. I was not looking forward to brushing 40 fence panels. Out of desperation and a little bit of curiosity I put 3 litres in a weed spay killer and mixed with 2 litres of water. Shaked like hell for a good mix and started spraying. It worked! No blockages, no cleaning out in between just a solid continuous spraying process. Did the whole job in 4 hours. The 12 litre tin from B and Q was the best value around. Really very pleased I have saved so much time and boredom. Panels look great. They had been treated before so this may not work on new fence panels. Having said that the 2 new panels I replaced this spring took it in one coat and blend in with the older panels. Each panel took approx 2 minutes to spray. After about 5 panels you have to re load. Re mix re pump. Totally recommended. An end to brush work. Fantastic.
Ronseal-doesn’t do what it says on the tin

This paint requires a fair bit of mixing and after opening 4 of them, my top tip is hold it tight at the lid and shake before opening. It’s application is decent but don’t be tempted to put a large amount on your brush as it drips quite badly. One thing about this paint, if you are looking for a solid, consistent finish to your fence, it’s categorically NOT ‘One Coat’ I did three! If you’re happy with a patchy, uneven finish then one coat will do the job. All in all I’m happy with the product, just took a lifetime to paint my fences, thanks for Podcasts!
This product is great

I purchased this after a very disappointing result with the medium oak colour which was orangey red. Having redone fence panels with dark oak, I am completely happy with result. Colour is true to what it states. It is very easy to apply and one coat covers adequately.
