One coat.... if only

I bought this to use on the fence which had not been treated for some years, some panels were weathered and had not been treated since installation, others had a mid-brown previous coat. Some panels have been sprayed but because of the wind most have been brushed, all have needed at least two coats and patches have had three or four and I have used more than twice as much product as I anticipated, having bought two 9L tubs I will have to buy more in order to obtain an acceptable finish, having read the reviews for Cuprinol, I will be using that in the hope that is less watery the consistency of this means either you get runs or inadequate coverage.
I should have read the reviews before buying, this stuff is cheap and it seems you get what you pay for!
I will not use this again and would recommend others not to buy it!
Not overly impressed with this.

I bought the first tub of Fence Life to repaint an existing fence of a similar but slightly weathered green. Far from being a one coat paint, I had to buy a second tub to try to get an even cover. Even after two coats it's still patchy. Seriously I am not impressed, and this was applied using Ronseals sprayer.
Not what it says on the tin.

One coat this is not. I’d been given a shed that was previously an old brown red colour and very weathered. It does say for rough sawn wood. I just went round the shed 3-4 times and will still need to go back out tomorrow. Absolutely do not recommend if you’re hoping to cover another colour. I’m really dreading doing the fence now! I should have realised it would be this thin as it says suitable for spraying on the tub.
Pros: I like the colour. I had much better luck on a completely untreated surface.
Got the job done

I brought this product 2 weeks ago. I sprayed 12 x 6x6 fence panels with approximately 12 litres of the Forest Green. It is a little watery but did the job.

Bought this last Sunday. This paint is just a tad thicker than water. Spent hours repeatedly painting over a fence that had already been painted Forest Green so this should just have been an easy touch up. Instead spent hours repeatedly painting over the same spots, and yet where the old paint had faded and shown the grey fence, It still would not cover it. Again, spent the whole of this morning painting several layers and still this "paint" does not stick. Should be renamed Water/transparent Green. Definitely not one coat. More like Seventy! Took the rest of it back to B&Q (who were great) and allowed me to exchange for Cuprinol which I've used before, and is much better. Don't waste your time and money on this joke of a "paint"! If I could give it minus 0 stars I would.
