One coat actually means 3 and like many others, the colour is closer to a red/orange than it is brown. Ended up buying dark oak instead which is a MUCH nicer colour.
Not rain proof after 2 days!!

I like this colour once it’s dried!

Upon reading other reviews I thought I should post! The colour indeed upon opening is an orangish colour and when you apply you almost think ok this isn’t what I expected however you have to be patient and let it dry! Once dried it is exactly medium oak and my garden looks reformed! Looks fabulous in addition I think it should be used with ronseal sprayer in order for the right amount of covering. Alternatively you can reapply a coat after 4 hours. My fences were dry and had never been coated therefore it took more product to soak in. The sprayer did go onto the posts but I was ok with this because I painted the posts/gravel boards with exterior paint.
