We bought this paint to cover some highly polished dark wardrobe doors. You need to clean the surface with sugar soap first and it did take 2 coats as the doors were VERY dark - also it is best to leave to completely dry for 48hrs BUT they look amazing and brand new!! We also painted a chest of drawers with the green and again looks superb!! I am telling everyone about it!

I used this paint on my kitchen cupboard doors , i used a roller to put the paint on, it is a good paint and can take a reasonable knock, without damaging it. It is waterproof and the colour is good. The only problem i found was that when the paint dried it was slightly patchy in places, when i reffitted my doors you coudn't really see the patches,it was much better than i first thought. The patches, they are very slight, but in an artificial light, if you look quite hard, you can notice it. overall though, i would recommend the paint. i did need to use mainly two coats and in certain places three, but it is worth commenting, the original colour of my doors were very dark and you are using a much lighter colour when painting with sandstone.

Does nothing like it says on the tin.......3 coats later, and still need to do more. I know it says may have to do two coats depending on the colour of the wood, but this is rediculous.....
Easy to use

I bought this and was a little worried about the reviews for the product in other colours. I followed the instructions on the tin (I did aim for 2 coats) I used a good quality gloss roller and it was fab, used this on the frames and the soft green on the doors, great result. Just take your time, complete all the prep work and aim for doing in two coats. Looks like a new kitchen now
