I used this product last summer, followed the application instructions and gave my decking three coats. Just a few months later it's peeling even where no one walks and it looks worse than it did before. Avoid this product - it's an expensive waste of time and money.

I spent ages at the end of last summer preparing and painting all the decking at my mum's park home. It looked great for a couple of weeks but then it slowly started to deteriorate. Within a few months, despite not having much footfall, it had all worn away and now looks worse than when I started. What a waste of time and money.
I'm about to start again but this time I'm going to use cheap fence paint as recommended by someone below.

I have used this product 3 times over 6 years on older decking and find that it’s better with 2 coats but heavy walking area can tend to come off but overall I find it good , either that or composite decking much more expensive but does last fairly well as far as decking paint goes

I used this product at the end of summer last year. It looked great for a few weeks, then began to peel wherever it was walked on. I applied in perfect conditions and as per instructions.
