The 8mm mesh in this rotary soil sieve will help to make the finest soil imaginable, ideal for potting up seedlings at the start of the season, or for removing sticks and stones from compost. For best results, it is recommended that the sieve is stood up in a wheelbarrow, so the sieved matter is collected in the pan. Simply pour the soil or compost into the hopper and turn the spring-loaded handle; the sorted soil falls out of the base.

Legs are different lengths.
Not so much as a review as I haven’t used it yet but when I assembled it two of the legs are a lot shorter than the other two causing it to lean to one side or the other. Not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be but seems a little odd if it is as it won’t sit level on flat ground.

A speedy way to save money
It's very good and saves a lot of time over hand sieve, I've be able to go through the whole compost heap and now have 20 bags sieved compost that is better bought. You need a large container like a large trug to catch sieved compost and strong arms to empty the waste into another container. A couple of minor grypes would be the instructions aren't very detailed and stirring arm could been about an inch wider.

Efficiently filters soil
I bought this to sift thought rotovated soil. It has been really good so far at removing rocks, bulbs, weeds and roots from the soil. It makes life so much easier, even the kids love to help out and turn the handle. Some minor issues: handle (ball) can unscrew itself if held tightly while turning. Soil can get stuck to the sides which needs occasional shaking to bring it back to the middle.

A neat garden essential
The Rotary Soil Compost Sieve Screener was recommended by a friend and proved to be a wonderful addition to the garden equipment. Sieving the compost from the variety of bins has been so quick and easy. The manual sieving was tiring, exhausting and time consuming and no where near as efficient.

Great bit of kit.
Was debating spending the money on one of these for a while. Worth every penny. Stood sieving with a hand sieve for 2 hours the previous night before my purchase and was able to do about 5 wheelbarrows. Felt it the next day. Rotary sieve arrived and it looked like the courier had stood on it so emailed for a replacement which arrived 2 days later. Was able to sieve about double the amount in and hour and was so simple. Didn't feel sore or anything the next day. My 7 year old was also able to help. Top notch and great customer service from the seller.
