Followed the instructions to the letter when freezing the cold inlet to a basin (15mm copper pipe). Had to use 2.5 cans and not the recommend 0.5 can to stop the flow. Checked that the ice plug was solid and no water coming out of the tap. Went to cut the pipe (about 30cm away from the plug) and the plug came loose. Huge mistake and caused significant flooding. Not recommended at all.

Had to freeze a copper pipe that I couldn't close from the mains. Froze it with a few bursts of spray from the can ( Preferred to use half of it to be on the safe side), replaced what I needed and I was done! Worked like magic.
I was abit weary of it thinking it wont hold the pressure but its amazing. Recommend using it if you have the same problem. It does take a while to unfreeze and to let the water back flowing so you need patience.
