Product works really well - removes the olive quickly and easily without damaging pipe, and new olive slips onto pipe easily without problems.
It is not cheap but is way better than using a hacksaw. I agree with another reviewer that you can get this tool into places where a hacksaw would not reach. Wish I had bought one years ago.

Great Tool

I would highly recommend this for removing old olives, having tried using a hacksaw in the past, which takes a lot of time and patience. This tool did the job in 30 seconds, with no damage to the pipe.

This product is obviously not designed to 'cut and shape the pipes to suit your job' as per B&Q's online description but anyone who buys this product would know that or should do. This product cuts olives that have been crimped to copper pipe to save you using a hacksaw. Sometimes you need to reuse the bit of pipe that the Olive is on and the last thing you want to do is graze the precious pipe while hack-sawing the Olive. This tool does it safely and quickly and can be used in some awkward places that you can't even get a hack saw near. Generally speaking I think that it is a bit expensive for what it is but B&Q are competitively priced so if you want one B&Q is a good place to get it. A cheaper option is to buy an Olive Puller but I prefer to cut the Olive
