The crushing hammer action of the 18V SDS+ Rotary (Pneumatic) Hammer Drill is excellent for drilling through stone and concrete. Backed by an 18V motor with variable speed, forward and reverse, gives complete control to the user when taking on tough tasks. A non-hammer setting means it can be used to drill into wood and metal too. Four other modes (hammer and rotary drill, chisel and chisel alignment) add to the tool's strong diversity.

Great drill
This is my second one of these drills. The first was great, being used for lots of relatively heavy duty work. I eventually burnt it out by asking it to do way too much. I had no hesitation in purchasing this new one.

It worked well for what I intended it for. It’s size is great and gets into small areas compared to similar sds drills

Weak SDS action, house duties only
Uses One batteries but the drill is very weak and is only any good for light interior work. Drilling into concrete with 6mm SDS drill was hopeless, l reverted to a main SDs drill. Hammer action is too weak, torque limiter is set too low. If l could l would take it back and get a Makita or similar.

Brilliant Cordless SDS
This is the second one of these I've had. First one worked brilliantly and gave several good years of heavy service. I had no hesitation in buying an exact replacement hoping it will give me that same service as the previous one did.

Ryobi one+ SDS hammer drill
Added to my collection of Ryobi one+ power tools. This SDS hammer drill... Can honestly say top 3 status within my collection.... Fantastic hammer drill.... makes easy work in masonry, walls inside or outside.. The variable speed trigger allows for gentle start to full power control.... Remember though as with any drill, hammer or not, the drill is only as good as the drill bit and the operator. Buy branded SDS drill bits, not the cheap options. I have many Ryobi power tools and I am very impressed with the Ryobi quality and feel...
