Great cutter
Half way through cutting an overgrown hedge my cutter packed up. It was good that B&Q were open and that they had this more powerful cutter in stock so I was able to finish the job. Very pleased with my purchase.

Ryobi rechargeable hedge trimmer
I recently bought this Ryobi hedgetrimmer to replace an old corded one of a different make which had gone wrong. This Ryobi is so much better, it tackles slightly thicker twigs and the freedom from the corded version is great. Battery lasts plenty long enough for me but I am a very senior citizen. I definitely recommend this product

Ryobi Cordless Hedge Trimmer
Since purchasing the Ryobi cordless hedge trimmer I have used the unit a number of times and am very happy with the performance. The hedge trimmer is much lighter than petrol equivalent, has little vibration in use and is simple to operate. The double hand switch / trigger operation means both hand have to be on the machine at all times which can limit the distance that can be reached but appreciate this is a safety feature. The 2 Amp/Hr battery is OK for short jobs but ideally if using for extended operation the larger battery is better. The unit cuts well (although does not have the power of a petrol unit) up to a reasonable diameter of branch. Overall very happy with my purchase and would certainly recommend to buy.
