Fine apart from the screws

In the first 9 screws that I tried, two had heads that broke off. It's then really tricky to drill the rest of the screw out. I've never had a problem with B&Q's normal range of screws, so why sell bad ones with their hinges? (This problem was highlighted by other reviewers 5 years ago)
Warning do not use the supplied screws

These hinges are great and i have fitted loads of them but the screws supplied are pants and will break off with the slightest force , be warned do not use the supplied screws they are made of cheap rubbish metal, go and get some decent ones. Come on B & Q there are enough reviews from your customers to make you take action and investigate why these hinges are supplied with such rubbish screws!!
So far so good

Rusty discolouration on many of the ones in stock. Struggled to find ones that didn't look old. Easy enough to fit.
Rusty when bought

Opened the packet on arriving home to find that the pin on the hinge was rusty (Picture attached). If it wasn't a 32 mile round trip would have returned.
Guess some WD 40 will have to do
B&Q a definite failure in the quality control department
Don't use the supplied screws

I purchased these hinges to hang a knotty pine door (see separate review). The hinges are fine. BUT I advise you to throw away the prepacked screws and buy some decent ones. Even though I pre-drilled the screw locations and was only driving them in using a hand screwdriver. The heads sheered off two of them which meant I had to do unnecessary surgery to remove the body. They are too thin under the head and should be of a heavier gauge.
