Cheap and cheerful, and a bit brutal, with no soft start nor brake. (V noisy)
Had to pack the rip guide with washers to get it anywhere near parallel to the blade.
Fine for ripping fence or floor boards etc - did a great job,
but I wouldn't like to try to cut anything that really mattered.

Really powerful motor and does what's required, pleased with it for the money spent, would recommend.

Not quite as good as I thought

Didn't want to spend too much money and have been caught out. The table top is very flimsy and I am replacing with a plywood top. I am now waiting for some mitre gears to replace the plastic ones which can't take the pressure. In a way I wish I'd spent more money and got a better machine.
Very loud, vicious start

This has a very instant immediate full power start and is very noisy, I have been used to a slow start and the blade getting to speed within a couple of seconds but this is completely not so, the blade has like a dead spot where you can move it back and forward about 1cm before it engages with the motor, I think this causes a banging noise when starting up, I even went back to B&Q and a guy opened up a new box and that machine was the same, otherwise for the price it's ok.
