Incredibly versatile Bonded Single Weight oil only absorbent mat which can be used inside or outdoors, in the wet or dry.

SERPRO Oil Only Pads are designed to float upon water and exclusively absorb the oil or fuel. They also work with vegetable and synthetic oils.

Use them in Boat Bilges - simply tie a piece of cord to a corner and allow the pad to float on top of the bilge water. Just make sure that the cord is only just long enough to not let the pad interfere with any pumps, filters and any other machinery.

Use them under leaky machinery and cars - can be placed directly on the ground and will absorb the oil before it contaminates the soil. Best used in conjunction with a drip tray if available.

Have been known to be used in outdoor fish ponds to wick up air-borne oils and contaminants. They should be secured to the side so that they don't interfere with pumps, fountains or other machinery.

These particular absorbent pads are ideal for the absorbtion of fuel leaks and spills. They are an ideal solution for remote employees in the field in cases where operating close to any water and the potential for oil, or fuel, pollution is significant. Since they simply just soak up the hydrocarbon liquid they are often put into use as oil spill skimmers in wetlands or streams. Also used in boat bilges and under the older, leakier, car.

SERPRO Oil Only products are recommended when you need to blanket a larger leak either indoor or out in the open and when soaking up only the oil, and not the water, is absolutely necessary.

Other pads you may see from competitors have a 'coverstock' on one side and may offer a 'spun bonded top layer', this top layer will not provide lint free handling and if used on painted floor surfaces can be a slip hazard.
