Nice shed but!
Hayzey - 3 years ago
I brought the shed online and was very happy with the response but when it was delivered on the Thursday there was no base! Had to wait till the next Tuesday for the base! The instructions where fairly good but when building the shed the panels were slightly different sizes so had to buy extra wood to fill in the gaps! After building the shed does look good.
Looks great

I am very happy with the shed, but it requires a good deal of time and patience to build, and two willing pairs of hands.
Very low quality timber cracks when putting nails
FaeLLe - 5 years ago
This is a decent shed which arrived in separate flat packs with no plastic wrapping. There was no carton or outer packaging, everything came as loose pieces on a pallet truck.
All the parts arrived in flat timber pieces and required assembling and instructions ask for certain wood pieces to be cut away at specific lengths so make sure you have a saw.
The timber was of a very low quality and cracked when driving nails through them. We gave up on using the nails provided and started using screws of our own with a power drill which meant the wood needed to be drilled through first to make holes before putting the screws through (otherwise it would have cracked more).
Roof needs substantial effort to assemble as it is just plain strips of wood that need to be arranged in the shape. Instructions provided skipped some steps so we needed to spend more time understanding it.
Finally the final product built had some gaps in the structure and needed filling with expandable foam and silicon sealant to ensure the structure is well packed.
You get what you pay for and this is by no means anything superior.
Poor

Just assembled the shed. It is very poor quality. There are gaps between the panels. And the window and door do not fit properly
Not happy
Better than expected

From some of the reviews of similar sheds online I wasn't expecting the shed to be the greatest. Delivery was a bit of a farce, however living in the Highlands it was a nice change getting free P&P!
On the whole the shed was quick and easy to assemble, instructions were a little cryptic in parts, but overall fine providing you have at least a basic knowledge in DIY. A helping hand for assembly is useful but not essential if you have several cramps and can be assembled in a day.
Most of the fixtures and fittings were of a decent quality, all screws and nails were adequate for the job, I replaced the hasp with a more secure one, however the standard one would be fine for most applications.
The shed does need treating once assembled and some panels are a little rough around the edges, but what do you expect for a shop bought shed. If you want really high quality shed, build one from scratch.
