Self assembly
Toupilette - 9 months ago
My husband assembled the product himself in about 4 days. Top tip: the base as to be extremely well leveled. Some fo the panels were slightly bent and not consistently squared. The quality of the product is variable across the panel. It did not come with a pretreatment and add to be sprayed prior to assembly allowing another £200/300
extra for this (use a spray). The instructions were not to bad if you have common sense.
The lock did come already assemble and it is not in working conditions. It is now standing in our garden and looks like the picture. The delivery was on the expected date and no part was missing, the panels were placed near the building site.
Good sturdy building

As with all self-build products, it's not completely perfect, but after spending three weekends constructing it all on my own, I can vouch for the sturdy weight of the timber!
I read many horror stories about the supplier (between ordering from B&Q and actual delivery), but found no missing parts or other problems in the end.
One word of warning; make sure you buy plenty of exterior shed paint/wood preservative - and after pushing a brush into every nook and cranny, I would also recommend a paint sprayer!
In summary, no real problems, strong and watertight, good space for your next list of jobs.
