Did the job

Did the job, plasterer was happy and plaster stayed on the ceiling so all good! Was quite hard work to paint on the ceilings, and I bought a 10l tub and barely used half of it doing about 40m2, so goes a long way. Better than pvc as you can see where you've been. However its quite messy as does drop grit everywhere.

great staff

Used this for bonding on a mix of old brick and previously painted surfaces. Adhesion is excellent — grabs really well even on tricky backgrounds where normal plaster would struggle. The consistency is spot on straight out of the tub, not too runny and easy to control on the trowel. The grit finish gives a really solid key for the next coat, which makes skimming much more reliable. Strength-wise it feels robust once cured, no flaking or weak spots so far. Also quite forgiving to work with, especially for patch repairs and uneven walls. Only minor downside is it can dry a bit quicker than expected depending on temperature, so best not to overwork large areas in one go. Overall, very solid product — would definitely use again for prep work before plastering.

Very good, too much

Great product but I only want a little bit. B&q is a trade shop for homeowners, this product is too large

Good but could be better

The granules inside the glue are very thick, and it’s hard to hide them when plastering
