Bought this yesterday to level a dining room floor that had more levels then a game of Tetris. Read the reviews about mixing and seen one for 7 litres of water ler bav and 5 litres from the manufacturer so i went half way and the resulting mix was perfect made its way around the floor doing its thing. No trowel needed just a mixing paddle on a drill and a bucket. Job done very quickly and result well its level and i am happy.. the room was 5.2m x 2.3m and used 5 bags. Defo use it again if need to level another floor.

This was our second floor to level so we knew what to expect. We used exact measurements of water and product. I mixed, my Hubbie laid the stuff. I measured everything beforehand so I was very quick. The end result is awful, it just went off much too quickly, it's got troughs everywhere and it certainly did not self level.some people said to add more water, but it's too weak if you do that. Also each bag only contained 24 kg not 25 which probably mucked up the measurements. We even bought a spiked roller to help move it around and get the bubbles out. The surface also cracked in several places. In the end I sanded the bumps and will be filling the remaining troughs, again! Why would anyone design a product which goes off so quickly? It would be better if it did not even think of going off for about 2 hours. With ours nor recommend it and will not buy this brand again. Last time we used Bostik brand and it was better than this.

Only partially self leveling - trowel needed

Sika states it levels to a feathered edge. It certainly does not. If you use the advised 5 litres of water per bag it will need troweling to push it into corners and edges. It will also need troweling to blend successive bags. You may be left with slight trowel marks which will be fine for tiling onto but be careful if fitting lino. I understand why people are stating they have added more water to make it level better but Sika state not to do this. I have experience with plastering and the mixing that goes with it. Without this experience I may have ended up with a botched floor. Definitely use a mixing bucket and drill/whisk and have a trowel ready for when pouring down.
