An attractive, modern & efficient framless fire
Dogpitt - 1 year ago
If, like me, you considered purchasing a multi-fuel stove, but disliked the inconvenience of having to order and store fuel, plus the added upkeep that comes with its operation (cleaning included), then a fire like this might be for you.
It's high efficiency, running at close to 80%, and therefore kicks out a generous amount of heat. It's also space-saving, as it sits unobtrusively within the wall and there is no need for a hearth or mantelpiece.
You'll probably need to allow for around £500 for fitting and materials including heat resistant plasterboard, but compared to other frameless fires, this will still look the business whilst coming in much, much cheaper.
The fire comes with a remote control, allowing for convenient use and programming to limit such things as the run-time and the temperature. The receiver can either be powered using batteries or a provided USB cable.
The only minor negative is that this comes with a 5 year warranty as opposed to 10 or 15 years that some of the competitors offer. With that said, I think the price more than compensates for this.
