Spectrum SBSCBC 40V Standard Battery Charger (0.5A)

Product information

Built to keep Spectrum 40V lithium-ion batteries in peak condition without rushing them, the SBSCBC delivers a steady 0.5A trickle through the night. By morning the pack is at full charge and ready for whatever the garden throws at it. At just 170g and small enough to drop into any drawer, this is the everyday charger most single-battery toolkits will need. The 0.5A rate is widely accepted as the kindest cycle for lithium-ion longevity - slow charging means lower internal heat and more years of useful life from each pack. An LED on the front confirms when a charge is in progress and when the pack is full. If you need quicker turnaround between sessions, the Spectrum SBSCSC fast charger (2A) is the sister product.
