Failed on first use!
Bought this yesterday and hoped the reviews were wrong - sadly not - gun jammed on first attempt and wouldn't release. Don't buy it - very disappointed. Stanley letting down their good brand name.

Don't bother
Had this for just over a year, used a few times and now it's broken. The hammer, the past that his the nail has broken. It kept jamming up before this happened with the adjustment of the screws on the front very temperamental. Cant find spares anywhere so will buy a branded one to replace.

Brilliant
Just completed feathered edge fencing project using over 2800 brads, only one jam using other brand nails. Saved huge amount of time and would definitely recommend for DIY projects.

Well made Product but not too heavy.
I bought this item to complete the nailing in job of the small quadrant beading on my laminate floor. The beading was made of 15mm MDF. I had the power setting set to max to give the best result. The results was good. Provided you hold the gun at the right angle with two hands and apply the right downward pressure the nail went all the way in. But by holding with one hand only the nail went most of the way in. I finished off by punching the nail heads in. Like with all air guns it gives a good kick and leaves a slight mark on the surface of the timber. This product is well made and priced well. I had no problems with using this product and no failures. A good buy.

Long term, not very good
I've replaced this nail gun in the past two weeks. Onwing two in two weeks. Today I returned The second replacement as it stopped working. These nail guns are for DIYers...NOT for a full time construction worker who requires almost daily use.

Well made product
This product is very satisfactory for its purpose. So far it has never failed to fire the brads even though I was obliged to use brads of another make as my local branch had a poor selection. The construction is assuringly robust.
