Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from excellent box bought to do some straight cuts and mitres for batten-sized wood for frames and rack shelving - had not used one before. Found it very effective, easy to use and stable with the gripping pegs a great simple system. used it with a normal saw and a tenon saw - both fine - did not find as others have reported that the box is easily cut - I probably made 100 cuts with no such issues. cheap and does the job well

Rated 5 out of 5 by zine from Great piece of kit Can't complain for £10. The comments about it being "too flexible" or "wrong size", should be ignored, as the product is made from PLASTIC, an has numerous guide holes and cuts, so will always be flexible. And size is ideal for most diy jobs. Locating holes are ideal to stop wood from moving during cutting. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Very Good Value Product I have used this mitre block extensively and it's both reliable and well designed. The pegs are very effective for holding timber (and other materials) firmly in place, as the design is infinitely adjustable. The internal width is 120mm, which is ample for most jobs. The design of the block includes a protruding lip along the bottom, allowing the user to hold it firmly against the edge of any worktop. It is plastic, so if you hit it with a hammer, it will break, and if you're ham-fisted with a saw it will cut bits out of the plastic, but that's the user not the tool.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Only suitable for hobby use. Purchased to cut two gate brackets at 45 degrees. Liked the variety of angles to cut at. Dislike the difficulty using with thicker wood which taller pegs and more pegs would help. Would recommend fixing the jig to a suitable surface securely before using.

Rated 3 out of 5 by kettlemug from Overpriced The black pegs are a useful addition to help hold work pieces in place when cutting. Fold out feet help to keep the mitre box at the edge of your work bench. The mitre box it's self is flimsy and does not give a true cut unless you are very gentle with it whilst cutting or it will flex out of shape. You need a 10 or 12 inch saw to use with this mitre box for anything other than a 90 degree cut. I am disappointed with the quality for the price.

Rated 2 out of 5 by ianux48 from Dissapointing The clamping feature is a good idea but the product is let down by rather flimsy construction and slots that are twice the thickness of the average saw, giving rise to inaccurate verticals, I did get some better results packing the slots with card but a lot of messing about, would not buy again or reccommend

Rated 1 out of 5 by MJPhillips from Avoid I thought this would be a cheap option to help me fit skirting board. As the gaps are to wide, the cuts are no where near accurate - it went straight into the bin. Don't waste your money on this.
