Surteco Grey Oak effect Tape, (L)5m (W)18mm

I was a bit dubious about buying this after reading an earlier review but I am glad I did. It was very easy to apply mostly due to it being exactly the right width. I cut my strips to the correct length and then held them in place with a few bits of masking tape, before ironing them on. I ran a file down each side just to take off any sharp edges and that’s it job done. Easy and looks great.

Purchased a roll of this edging to finish a set of shelves for my sons bedroom. After cutting and planing the ends of the shelves I was very surprised to find that there was no overlap on the thickness of the board. In fact if your boards are even slightly over the 18mm stated thickness the edge tape does not cover the entire edge of the board...bring back edging tape that has at least 1mm of overlap and can be trimmed to the thickness of the board when glued in place
