Must buy
These are the best ceiling lights I've ever bought, I've received 3 in total, getting rid of the cable type that have always been around was great, look much more modern, colours are great.

Missing remote
Missing remote. Contacted B&Q no response. It’s of no use to me as I need the remote to make it work.

Outstanding value
I now have purchase six of these. The functionality is fantastic. They are easy to install and the software is outstanding. Always works. Also integrates very well with Alexa voice control.

fancy product from a reputable name
I usually prefer practical products to fancy ones but gave Sylvania a go. I was going to remove the entire ceiling rose but changed my mind: 1) it is easier to wire this way 2) it is easier to revert if it is not satisfactory in any way 3) the halo backlight shows up better I tried connecting it via WiFi a few times but unsuccessful. However bluetooth works fine. 1500lm bright enough or a small bedroom (2.8m x 2.5m) and my daughter only set it to 40%. Due to the uneven mass, I have to put a weight at the back to keep it level (photo 2).

Quite disappointing
The light is quite disappointing. The Sylvania app is poor and it doesn't play well with Google home. It does give out a good amount of light but is is easier to use it with a light switch than with the app. It was £10 on black Friday, I would have returned it if it had been full price
