Spent hours pointing a wall and this product, when dry it turned to sand. I will have to brush it out and start aging. Complete waste of time and money. Turns out to be a very expensive bag of sand.

Mixed the mortar with water and checked the next day and the mortar started flaking off and not sticking on the wall after 48 hours, it should be solid as a rock. Waste of time and money. I will never buy this product again absolutely dreadful and disapointed.
About as strong as a sand castle in a hurricane

Went to B&Q looking for a small bag of cement to do a simple paving stone repair. Asked an assistant and was recommended this bag of rubbish. After applying it with the right water ratio and leaving it out to dry - I tested it the following morning and the whole lot powdered away to nothing with just a sweep of a broom. DREADFUL! AVOID!

I brought this product from B&Q Chingford only last week and used it to repoint my slab paved patio. The final result is awful. I already had half a bag of other readimix and the results are are so markedly different that the new product is clearly inferior. After two days the pointing is still soft and the excess I would have expected to be a hard lump where I left in in the garden, just crumbled to the touch. The product is clearly inferior and I doubt contains very much actual cement at all. Or perhaps it was a Friday and the manufacturer turned off the cement dispenser too early - I say that tongue in cheek, of course. I only hope this stuff goes off eventually, otherwise when I next pressure wash the patio, I'll have wet sand over everything.
