Tile cutters

Manual tile cutters are used to make straight, precise cuts in ceramic, porcelain and terracotta tiles. Manual tile saws use a round cutting wheel that is drawn along a rigid base using a metal lever handle. The cutting wheel scores the tile, which can then be easily snapped to leave a neat break. Tile nippers are used for more detailed cuts - such as those to shape a tile around the outlet for a pipe. The two handles are squeezed together to nibble through the tile. Working slowly, cuts of any shape and size can be achieved.
