Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product for my large tiles I am not a tiler so I relied on this product to be exactly what it said on the tub. (mainly to fix large tiles, anti-mould and water resistant). My tiles are, I believe, ceramic and 8 inch x 10 inch. I used Unibond on the wall, as advised on the instructions and prepared the tiles to be placed on the wall. Probably giving it 10 sec or so between apply and fix. I had to make sure I worked quickly and only a few tiles at a time because Unibond would fix the tiles very quickly; therefore, I had to make sure the tiles were in position otherwise I would not be able to move them. I even used it to place my silver coloured metal rim to the top of the tiles and that fixed very quickly. My worry with that was that I would need to hold it to the wall for a long space of time whilst it dried to avoid it bending (the longest length is 69 inch long and 1/2 inch thick). I needn't worry because it fixed within seconds. I also used it to grout the tiles after a few days and I can put my hand on my heart to say, honestly, there couldn't be a better product. (my tiling was done in the summer in a fully vented room, when the bathroom was not used for a while to avoid the condensation, water on the walls etc) Now I will only be using this to do any tiling if, in the future, I need to tile anything else. I do hope not, because tiling takes effort, and effort in the fixing of the tiles (at least) was completely taken away with Unibond Wall Tile Adesive and Grout. I am writing this review really late because I have had tiled my bathroom over a year ago, but I am about to buy more to fix behind my sink, that has recently been replaced, and I do not agree with the reviews that I have read and felt that credit needs to be given to where credit is due. Again; I am not a tiler, just a women that has to do DIY in her house since I no longer have a husband to do it for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from SN Good product, but why don’t you do smaller containers, only used small amount and will now go hard by the time I come to use again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Grout Was easy to use worked well as an adhesive although one tile did fall off and had to be put back on

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It was unsuited to my tiles I had to fix stainless steel faced mosaic tiles and unfortunately this adhesive did not work well. It seems to have too much moisture content and after 24 hours was still very soft. For ceramic tiles it would be perfectly alright but mine needed powder based high strength adhesive to take the weight and to dry out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Fit for Purpose I bought this approx 3 weeks ago to repair cracked grout in the splash area of the shower. The old grout was thoroughly raked out from the tiles all along the lower area of the shower, the gaps thoroughly cleaned and allowed to dry for 24 hours. After then checking to make sure the area to be grouted was dry the grout was given a good mix and applied making sure that all the gaps between tiles were filled and not just skimmed over. The joints were smoothed and the area was cleaned using a damp cloth taking care not to touch the grouted area. and left to dry as stated on the instructions for 24 hours. After 24 hours the grout was polished and left for a further 12 hour before using the shower. After using the shower for 3 days I noticed the new grout was starting to wash out, after checking all grout it was now soft. I contacted the Unibond help line to see if they could throw some light on the problem and was told I should have left it to dry for 48 hours contrary to the instructions on the tub, this was pointed out and also that the grout was allowed a further 12 hours to dry on top of the advised 24 hours. After giving the batch number and date from the lid I was told that somebody would contact me from the next level up in 2/4 days then the line went dead!!! Waited 2 days, no phone call and rang back. Told that a guy called Alex would call, but it could take a few days or up to 8 weeks!!! Now that is great customer support, I think not. Probably best if they removed the contact number from the tub. At this stage tape was being used to cover where some of the grout was coming out so that the shower could be used. The images show the tape and more grout coming out, at this stage the Unibond product was returned to B&Q who immediately refunded and supplied an alternative produce, not Unibond. The defective material was raked out and exactly the same procedure was carried out regarding application and wait time with perfect results. 5 stars to B&Q for their customer support, they deserved it, but Unibond -5 stars for their disgraceful customer helpline support.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not even white! I have just tiled my bathroom with gloss white metro tiles and bought this grout as it is supposedly 'ice white'. I was under the impression that would mean the grout was super white. Unfortunately, no. Against my bright white tiles the grout was a cream colour. I will now have to go over the whole lot again with another grout. Well cheesed off. Total waste of money and, more importantly, time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolute rubbish waste of money I have been tiling for years and have never experienced anything like this product .Just a small area to do 1/2 sq metre ,usually I would fix tiles with just adhesive and grout later, bought this to save a bit of time ah, ah. What a nightmare, Opened the tub and there was liquid on top,and what seemed a chalky substance below very difficult to mix and it just didn't feel right.I should have given up when I applied this rubbish to the wall, it just didn't spread right,I put a few tiles on but they didn't slide, when trying to move them they fell off.I persevered, as it was only a small job, just wanted to get it done, should have known better, almost done and tiles started falling off. So l decided to take the lot off, which was surprisingly easy as most of them fell off when I touched them. Then the clean up took me another hour, what a mess, I wasted a full morning on this project , which should have taken about an hour and I will have to start all over again yippee. Not be using this rubbish again though, never again
