Nobody could believe how good they looked together
black, white, grey AND the taupe, with charcoal grouting,

Many of the tiles I bought have been flawed

These tiles seemed just the right product for a really nice finish to my new kitchen. But very soon I found that many of the tiles in each pack had flaws and/or damage of some sort once I'd wiped them clean with damp kitchen roll, let them dry and looked at them under my kitchen spotlights: e.g. finely scratched areas in two, three or all four corner zones, or parallel finely scratched areas along opposite sides of a tile, and sometimes finely scratched areas in the centre of the tile too, or two short deep scratches near one edge and continuing again on the opposite edge, or one or more white speckles where the black colour wasn't covering the white of the underlying tile material. The problem was the same with all the packs that I bought from four different B&Q stores in the north west of England. I tended to accept between 5 and 10 tiles per pack of 25. Although the product seemed great value for money at first glance - once you factor in the hours of time to quality check each tile - and the extra trips to B&Q to get additional packs - and they don't seem quite such good value for money any more. I currently have 32 packs of 25 tiles to return for a refund - all tiles that have been cleaned, inspected and rejected. In my case the tiles were going to be very visible in my kitchen, with lots of lights around which might show up any flaws, but if you're using them in a less well-lit setting then many of the flaws I've found may not be so noticable.

Poor glazing finish

I guess you get what you pay for. The glaze on the tiles is really messy on the edges, which shows up when you grout it. Too bad they're already on my wall, as otherwise I'd be asking for a refund

Just what I was looking for nice quality low cost
