I was so impressed with V33 Easy that I have now tried this V33 Renovation paint. Have to say it is slightly more glossy than the Easy though still satin and it is also proving more difficult to achieve coverage as needing more coats; I am using thin coats though. I experimented with a more famous brand of water based paint (D****) from another outlet but the results were not to my liking as for the job I had in hand I preferred the fact that V33 does not obliterate the wood grain to the same extent. I am purely guessing that V33 evaporates more solvent than D**** just leaving more pigment behind. Choice seems to come down to what is preferred a more grainy finish or an obscuring finish.

Amazing coverage and the 2lt tin goes a long way. I painted 6 kitchen doors and 4 drawer fronts with 2 coats and only used 1/3 of a tin. Professional finish with a paint roller and light sand between coats

We were looking to update our kitchen without spending a fortune. It was the last resort before buying a new kitchen and im so pleased with it. I bought the tester pot of the linen and the pearl barley to try and decided on the pearl barley. I would definitely recommend prepping well first i took off all the doors and handles (which we replaced- also from B&Q) and cleaned with sugar soap. After reading all the reviews i tried both fluffy and foam roller but preferred the foam and used a round ended brush for the edges. I bought one of the large tins and still have quite alot left after giving each cabinet door front and back 3 coats. The transformation is great it looks like we have fitted a new kitchen. The finish on the doors is excellent easy to wipe any marks off!
Better than imagined
