Worst paint ever

The worst primer/undercoat I’ve ever used. It’s like water and has just created more work for me. Don’t buy.

Good Finish

Easy application with Good coverage with two coats applied first it made the gloss top coat a really perfect smooth look.

Great Product!

purchased for an upcycle project for an old wood drawer unit that I wanted to paint dark therefore didn't want a white primer. It worked perfectly. I mixed with a little water for the first coat, 2nd coat wasnt necessary but did it anyway. coverage was perfect and the finish of the now painted unit is bold, even and not chipping!

Brilliant Primer! Even up against MDF!!

I was really dubious about using this product given so many scathing review's, but I’m glad I did! Bought this primer for wall panelling that I had constructed from MDF before painting as it’s not the best surfaces for paint adhesion. I sanded down each piece to key the surface, wiped with a slightly damp cloth before application & I can’t recommend this primer enough! Great adhesion (onto MDF!!) with even coverage leaving a brilliant base for two final coats of Valspar paint! No complaints here whatsoever on this project.

Chips too easy!

Waste of time and money this stuff. Properly prepped my wood by sanding cleaning then priming. After 2 coats this stuff scratches off and chips too easy. I had to paint two coats of wood paint then varnish over the top because it marked quickly. Wouldn't bother with this again

Worst primer I have ever used

I've done a lot of DIY over the last 30 years and have never come across a worse paint. It drags when brushing and never covers properly and gives an awful finish, and though a "primer and undercoat" it is useless at both. Only bought it instead of Dulux because I didn't need much for the job, but I've binned it and got some proper primer. Absolutely hopeless and B and Q should take it off their shelves.

Top quality and excellent coverage

Found this to be brilliant.....upcycled some old fitted pine (varnished) wardrobes. Only took 1 coat. Goes on really smooth little to no brush strokes. Def, buy again.

Grate coverage from white to gray

Used two coats and a top coat with grate coverage.

save your money and your time.

This has the consistency of skimmed milk, and milk that has gone off, its dreadful to work with, drips everywhere, and the coverage is uneven and iridescent. You need to mix this as if your life depends on it and keep on mixing this muck, it's the worst paint I have ever used, the only decent place for this is in the bin! How on earth this can be sold as a premium product I will never know. There is absolutely no way gloss will adhere to this, ever!!
