Does not adhere well

Despite giving my door frames a light sanding down, this paint struggles to adhere itself to the surface. A waste of time and money.

The bright colour of the paint attracted me along with the fact the the sales rep convinced me that Valspar is a premium paint. The consistency was terrible. The coverage terrible. We had the entire house painted with this paint by a professional painter. Half way through he said it was a disaster but at that point it was too much to redo with something g else. Now, 4 months on there are patches showing up everywhere. Avoid this product. There is a reason why it is discounted.

I’m really shocked by all the other rev and can’t help but think the paint must have been a faulty batch! Mine was fabulous! Really good coverage and went on the wooden kitchen door , door frames and skirting boards a treat! No splatter!! So incredibly easy to use and no mess! It dries quickly and was just the finish I was after! A little goes a long way in my case. I did did give it a jolly good mix. It wasn’t watery at all!! Brush easily cleaned with just water and if you do accidentally drip anything it easily wipes clean before drying. I’m very pleased indeed with the paint and will define it more!
Not worth the money

The only good things about this paint is that it doesn't smell and it dries quickly and that's it. The paint resembled milk and was difficult to mix. I also need to apply several coats to get an acceptable finish. Fortunately, I was using it in the spare bedroom and would not consider using it anywhere else in the house. It was expensive and certainly not worth the money. Would not recommend.

Bought this as was told white eggshell paint would be hard wearing for woodwork with great coverage.... Opened the tin to find watery translucent liquid that even after a good mix did not come close to a paint consistency - may as well paint your woodwork with semi-skimmed milk... Disgusting considering the price...
