I bought the Valspar premium V700 expecting it to cover in one coat as had been marketed by the sales assistant and exhibited on the demonstration stand. Paint was thin and will need 1, if not 2 further coats. At £48 pounds a tin, I'm very dissatisfied and would not recommend this brand. I should have stuck with B&Q Colours brand and not tried to use the Valspar in the same colour match. In this instance, I did not get what I thought I paid over the odds for. Very unhappy at the extra work and expense necessary to fix this.

Great coverage and great quality paint

My 1st time using Valspar paint. I will definitely buy it from now on as it has great coverage and good wipeable silk finish. You just need to make sure it is very well mixed and you're good to go :)

Purchased this paint as the description on the paint recommends this Faster Work, Better Job, Excellent Opacity, Tough & Durable, Scrubbable. Dreadful Paint, Had got give three coats of paint even over a paint of the same colour. Doesn't cover. The finish is not smooth.

What on earth processed B&Q to change from Dulux to Valspar for its colour mixing range. It is the worst paint I have ever used. Need 4 coats to get any reasonable cover. The paint is thin and is a nightmare to paint over.
