Never ever again 58 - 8 months ago
Perhaps I have a defective or faulty tin but this is without doubt the worst paint I have ever used. It’s like painting with milk. I could not recommend this paint to anyone. Very disappointed.

Will not use any other brand but Valspar now, as they really do the job well.
Have tried the other paints and emulsions in the range, and all give excellent coverage, go on smoothly and clean up is really easy.
Wish I hadn't used this product

I've just finished using this product, and had a complete nightmare cleaning up after. The packaging is not helpful, advising 'brush cleaner' (?!) Also, I found this product stinks discusting, there is no need for this level of VOC's.
Water soluble undercoat
Nicolayl1 - 1 year ago
I chose this undercoat as I really wanted one that was water soluble , and it seems that so many aren't these days! I have been using it to prime some wooden furniture and this is great as it goes on smoothly with low odour, dries quickly and cleans up easily, without the need for any solvent cleaning products - all a must when working in a small, inside space! I find a little goes a long way and prefer to do 2 thin coats, worked in well, rather than a think coat.
Water Based Paints for wood
Scooge - 1 year ago
I was advised to use a water-based undercoat and gloss [ white] to avoid the yellowing
that is common with oil-based paints.
I followed the specialist advice to use acrylic brushes, not bristle brushes. New, quality brushes were purchased. The paints were applied to 8 ready-primed doors having a very smooth finish. The undercoat was ok to apply but when I applied the gloss it was impossible to eradicate brush marks.no matter what technique I tried.
I reverted to a non-drip gloss. Had to prepare all surfaces AGAIN
