Really bad quality
bought this a few weeks ago as i cant get to a garden centre, the overall quality is really bad, has not finished composting, lots of really big bits of bark and stick left in, by far the worst compost i have ever seen. Also two of the bags i received were damaged and leaked all over my car!

ech Year the quality and quantity is getting worse
These have been losing on average 25kg per year and the quality is now terrible and have loads of plastic and twigs and it always seems to dry out extremely quickly

Peat-free ????
37% peat free means 63% peat!! This is poor marketing. It's either peat-free or not!

I don't buy any other brand of compost
I've lost count of how long I've been buying this compost. It gives consistently excellent results, has been voted a 'best buy' by 'Which Gardening' I won't buy any other compost

The best ... by far.
This compost is the best you can buy. I have tried almost every other brand. None measures up to this. I buy 4 125 litre bags every week - all year round.

worst compost I have ever bought
Purchased this morning. Took up to my allotment to fill nine, twenty-four module inserts into nine seed trays. As usual, I riddled the compost first and threw the lumps, twigs and plastic into an old washing up bowl. I have never found so much rubbish in such a small amount of compost. To make matters worse, it smells of chemicals. Good quality compost should not smell like this does. Yes it's cheap but it is cheap for a reason. I will never buy this rubbish again!

Would highly recommend
I bought this to help grow new grass seed. After preparing the ground and planting the grass seed I used this compost to cover it and after four weeks I had a beautiful green lawn. This is very rich compost and I would highly recommend it.

Rotten
Really don't know what B&Q are up to but ever since they changed the branding on this its been lousy. Bought three bags this year and won't be buying it again. It's thin and nasty and full of little twigs meaning it all had to be sieved. It doesn't hold water but dries out extremely quickly, making it useless for seed trays - every single one of my seedlings this year either failed to germinate or evaporated because the compost just wouldn't retain any dampness for more than a couple of days. Also, the bags used to be 150L rather than 120, and its also gone up in price.

Disappointed
I've always purchased B&Q multipurpose but the last few bags were not up to standard. Pieces of plastic and large twigs and even a bottle top. Not good enough .
