Nice outdoor planter

New container
This container is perfect for my Acer tree. It compliments it elegantly, it is very stable, the tree tended to fall over in the wind in its old container but this one is robust and secure. It is also very pleasing to look at. Capacity is good and, so far, no problems with drainage. All in all a good buy.

Beautiful planters!
I have five of these planters. They are expensive, but worth it. Unfortunately, they don't look new for long and after a couple of years, look old and tatty. This year, I decided to sand them all down and apply teak oil. Complete transformation. They don't look quite the same as when I purchased them, but I love the new look. I want to purchase one more, but notice they have gone up to £92!!! I think I paid £78.

Lovely Planter - Good Quality
Nice cuts of wood, well constructed. Mine came with a label to say it had been pre treated with teak oil. The label also made it clear you would need to re-treat in 2 months. I applied 2 coats of cuprinol outdoor furniture oil so should hold up fine. A tad expensive but looks great.

I expected more quality for the price.
Bought this a year ago and when It was new it looked great but after a year in the garden the quality has gone, water has marked to wood on top and even after a sand and several coats of teak oil it doesn't look the same when it was new.

Something different….
My wife and I had been searching for a contemporary pot for a cherry blossom tree we had. We fell upon this at the Lincoln store. Initially it felt a bit expensive but we’re so glad we bought it as it looks terrific in our garden. I like the galvanised liner pot and the hardwood is very attractive. Hopefully it’s been treated and is weather resistant so it won’t fade, warp or dry our etc. I’m not sure what the wood has been treated with as ours didn’t have a label with it, but I’ll try a test patch with some wood oils to see if I can extend it’s life for many years to come. Worth the effort as it’s a lovely planter.

Fantastic planters
We have bought 3 of these last year and they are well built, keeping their colours and looking perfect beside fences of the same structure! Just a bit expensive...
