This multi-purpose compost has been specially tested and formulated to ensure your flowers, seeds and cuttings flourish and grow in the garden and greenhouse - feeding for up to 6 weeks.
- Use in pots and hanging baskets
- Composition - coir, wood fibre and bio fibre
- To re-pot a plant, water well 1-2 hours before re-potting. Before opening the bag, loosen compacted compost and make sure the contents are well mixed. Add a layer of compost to a slightly larger pot. Gently remove plant from pot. Pop plant into the larger pot and top up with compost. Lightly firm the compost with your fingertips and water. WE RECOMMEND: Take care when watering and avoid waterlogging. Check a few centimeters below the surface of the compost, if it is moist no watering is required. For smaller pots, the weight of the pot is a good indicator of its moisture content. For best results use a liquid feed to maximise flowering and fruiting. When using fertilisers follow the recommended dosing instructions.

This compost is the best quality compost I have found in a very long time. It is NOT full of of twigs, or chunks of god knows what and very little actual compost material, like some of its competitors. It is fine and free flowing with nutrients and wets easily. My outdoor plants must think they have hit the jackpot, I have seen growth of fresh leaves, shoots, and plants perking up quite quickly after using this, all great outcomes. The easiest way to show you, is buy a bag and open it just run it through your fingers and see how good it is. I have purchased about 50 x 50ltr bags in three deliveries and a couple of collections over the last 12 months and I'm still smiling and thanking the B&Q team, again, for all their hard work making my gardening life just that little bit easier.

I use in in pots on the garden and keeps plants healthy. I water & feed plants once or twice a week with seaweed feed as well.
