It's fantastic fertiliser but avoid tubes with white gravel inside, only red/brown colour of product is right.
Product full of white shingle

Bought this today. Full of white shingle. Never noticed till it was down. And I started to think something wasnt right. Lucky enough I'm turning not seeding. So it can stay down. Without affecting the lawn.
Look at the product in the tub

In Purley Way Croydon B&Q they have some tubs with fertiliser and some tubs full of white gravel chips. Definitely manufacturing issue. If you get a tub of offpink/grey granules then it is fine
Not 100% feed, is part-gravel, and you can

see white stones through my grass.
I thought I’d take a chance even though I’d read the previous reviews that said it was just gravel, because lawn feed can look like gravel - maybe the previous reviewers were mistaken? But no, this actually is part-gravel. Half of it dissolved into the soil, which must be the actual feed, but half of it has stayed on top, bright white, making the lawn look dirty and untidy. Not the look you’re going for when re-seeding! It completely defeats the object of putting a product on your grass to make out look nicer, it makes it look worse. I’ve waited 2 weeks now and it hasn’t dissolved, so it is definitely stones.
Nowhere on the tub does it say the composition is 50% stones.
It’s a good price, but only because out of the 2kg tub, I’d say only 1kg is actually lawn feed. It’s not really value for money because you’re not getting the product you thought you were getting. It would have been a good price if it was all feed and no stones.
I don’t know how the people who have given good reviews haven’t noticed they now have gravel on their grass. Or maybe they don’t mind. For me, it makes it a pointless product.

After reading reviews thought id better check contents. Full of white gravel so I'm returning. Hopefully I'll get replacement which is actually fertiliser. Will write another review once I get more
