• Surface Preparation - To prepare your surface, remove any loose paint or varnish, clean off any residual dust or grease. Certain surfaces may need a light sanding or a coat of primer to aid adhesion. A clean with a water-based clear spirit to remove any grease or silicone from spray polishes or waxes can be useful on old pieces of furniture.
