Nasty cheap garbage
Rpp - 1 month ago
Should know better at my age and after decorating so many of my own homes over the years........NEVER do it on the cheap.
This is the nastiest most horrible junk I have ever used that dries to a nasty powdery mess that covers your whole house in white powdery dust when dry!
THREE coats and you can still see every mark on the walls through it. Opposite wall was done with Dulux in one coat, needed to do the whole house so Dulux as a primer was getting expensive, so thought I would try the budget stuff. Muppet!!! Will need to go over it with a better one anyway.
Hope I can still find the receipt!
Any trades man bringing this into your house....sack them before they start!
Does what it is designed for

1 undercoat plus 2 coats of white paint are enough for my ceilings even though Dulux Wall & ceiling paint is very light in colour. It is supposed to be watery in order to be absorbed by plasterboard.
Don't buy!! Waste of money!!

Waste of money and time... Trying to paint on this primer, and the emulsion was fully with air bobbles.. Such a waste
Don’t waste your time & money!

Bought a few years ago for wood doors and it was ok. Bought recently for walls (to cover magnolia matte paint) and it is not white and after THREE coats STILL DID NOY COVER. Don’t waste your time and money! But a better primer/undercoat.

I'm a professional decorator and this is fine. Other revealing it doesn't cover is true, but primer isn't supposed to cover, its supposed to prime (the key is in the name). Primer is meant to seal a surface and give a consistent texture to paint on, it is NOT supposed to cover. If a primer covers well it means it has more pigment than sealant and that's not necessarily a good thing. From a professional, this is absolutely fine for average jobs. It will seal and give a good surface for top coat paint to stick to. THIS IS NOT A 1 STAR PRODUCT, people have misunderstood what primer is
