This is a primer, not heavily pigmented!
GiGi94 - 13 days ago
This product does what it’s supposed to do, like another reviewer said, it’s a primer not to be used specifically for full pigment coverage, just to prepare the surface for painting. Some primers/base coats are heavily pigmented, this one is not. It has a pretty decent finish and texture especially when a roller is used, suitable for putting actual paint on top and getting the best finish out of your actual paint!!! If you want a heavy coverage you need to apply quite a few coats, but as stated, it is for priming. It will look more see through when wet, and becomes more opaque when dry. This is fine for your average home renovation job!
Does as expected

This is a good product. Did the job as expected. Was a bit wary initially as looked a bit watery but once dried and applied second coat as directed all good. Applied to bare plaster. No dusty residue and would recommend. This is as stated a PRIMER. Perfect for my top coat.
Does the job very well

I bought this primer to go onto a new plasterboard ceiling. It went on well and cover nicely. Yes it is thin but it's a PRIMER!!! It is used to PRIME not cover.
Bear this in mind and it will serve you well.
We will be using this for the rest of the house, assuming I servive the process of removing all the old plaster.
Used on plaster board as a primer

I bought this as a primer for plasterboard and it’s doing the job at a great price. I will do two coats of this primer and then I am putting on the pigment paint which is a colour match of farrow and ball also bought at B and Q. I plan to do two top coats of the pigment paint. I think it will deliver a good finish. So far I’m happy enough with the product. The plasterboard is thirsty, so I think I will need the whole bucket for the bedroom.
Nasty cheap garbage

Should know better at my age and after decorating so many of my own homes over the years........NEVER do it on the cheap.
This is the nastiest most horrible junk I have ever used that dries to a nasty powdery mess that covers your whole house in white powdery dust when dry!
THREE coats and you can still see every mark on the walls through it. Opposite wall was done with Dulux in one coat, needed to do the whole house so Dulux as a primer was getting expensive, so thought I would try the budget stuff. Muppet!!! Will need to go over it with a better one anyway.
Hope I can still find the receipt!
Any trades man bringing this into your house....sack them before they start!
