I Swear by my Ballbarrow
I’ve had this for 5/6 years and it’s always been reliable and no fear of punctures. It’s stable and carries a heavy weight when needed. Am about to buy another one as you can never have too many wheelbarrows in a big garden.

Very annoyed with what I received.
I needed a sturdy wheelbarrow for my yard. As a front line worker I felt it was irresponsible to go in store to buy one, so I ordered it to be delivered. I received an item that was defective and clearly used before me. I paid full price and expected a brand new item. But no, B&Q dispatched and expected me to be satisfied with this. A used defective wheelbarrow with no refurbishment effort made. All they needed to do was to wash it and find a replacement screw and I probably would not have noticed. Currently awaiting a response from customer service.

it broke after light use had to fix myself as b&q said just tight the nuts up after that the tyre come away from the wheel in the middle it will drive u mad they dont make stuff l;ike they use to

Good design, but poor-quality finish
I bought the Walsall ballbarrow nine days ago after examining alternative conventional wheelbarrow products. The design was good, the balance and manoeuverability excellent and the product was easy to use on soft surfaces such as grass as well as hard ground. However, I returned the ballbarrow to the store today for a refund after only a couple of hours of light use because of a small split in the ball which showed signs of worsening and dissatisfaction with the quality of the paint finish, which was very thin and the galvanised finish, which was already starting to abrade, exposing the bare metal. The metal of the frame was also starting to rust. I checked other barrows (both wheelbarrows and ballbarrows) at the Scotswood, Newcastle upon Tyne, B&Q and most of them were also showing signs of rust, so an inadequate paint finish seems to be a general weakness of the product. In conclusion, I left the store very disappointed, because I would have liked to keep this well-designed product, but tolerate the above flaws.

Easy to steer
I bought a steel one as I want to minimise my plastic use, so this one will not be such a problem when it finally dies ( hopefully not n my lifetime) Its easy to steer, and a good size.

Waste of time
Brought this over a year ago, wheel split in half trying to get over a door step, impossible to find a replacement wheel, not cheap either

Been waiting for it!
Have had a Dyson Ballbarrow for about 40 years - and it's been fragile for about the last 5 years! Wanted another one, but Dyson sold the rights to a firm that went bust, I believe. This is the next best - though unlike the Dyson it has a metal (not plastic) body and lacks the extension that Dyson had.

Product that has been overdue to return to market
We had two Dyson ballbarrows in the past but they decayed and it was impossible to get replacements. The ball wheel is essential for our terrain so it was fantastic to find this product. Would be better with a plastic barrow body but the metal one is OK.

Well designed with handles long enough and well enough splayed to avoid the usual problem of kicking the struts as you walk. Light and manoeuvrable
