Features and benefits
Alkalinity Increaser: WAVE Total Alkalinity Increaser is used to increase the alkalinity of your spa water. Spa water tends to lose Total Alkalinity (TA), within days of you filling your spa with fresh water. Low Total Alkalinity will result in damage to your spa equipment, pH fluctuation and bather discomfort, ideal levels are between 100ppm (parts per million) and 140ppm. Application - Pre-dissolve the required amount of Total Alkalinity Plus in a clean plastic bucket filled with warm water. Stir the solution until the granules are fully dissolved. Ensure that your spa circulation pump is turned on before slowly pouring the solution directly onto your spa water surface. Continue to run your spa circulation pump for at least 15 minutes. Re-test your spa water and repeat the dosage until a Total Alkalinity reading of between 100 ppm and 140 ppm is achieved. Allow 15 minutes before using your spa. 3 in 1 Test Strips: Perfect for the residential user, Wave test strips are manufactured in the UK and subject to the same rigorous quality control as other pool testing products. Supplied in pots of 50 tests, the procedure is exactly as expected - dip, shake off the excess and compare to the colour chart printed onto the pot. It cleans the filters
The instructions said to mix one part cleaner with 20 parts warm water and leave the filter to soak overnight and then rinse thoroughly. I did that and the filter came out looking much cleaner. As it seems to work, I have bought another bottle

Difficult dosing
This kit is a good place to start but I will be shopping around for other chemicals which make dosing easier.
