Peat based, poor quality

Bought without checking for peat. This should no longer be on the market, as far as I’m concerned. Also very heavy, very sandy and a fair amount of impurities in it. Only compost I’ve ever bought where I felt compelled to write a review.

Please consider a peat-free alternative to this product.
Our UK peatlands are vital for carbon capture and act as our very own rainforest, as well as a haven for wildlife.
Sandy and stony

Some of my plants have not come out at all, in comparison to other composts, this is quite Sandy and lots of little stones. Not impressed.

Used a bag of the two I bought the other day and found a couple stones and even two plant labels from somewhere else mixed in with this.
