I bought this orchid potting mix based on highly rated amazon review but it is too fine and barks size are too small and too powdery that it’s like soil and it’s suffocate orchids roots ( specially Phalaenopsis orchids which some call them moth orchids). Phalaenopsis Orchid’ s roots need a larger barks to have gap and can breath not a compact soil like mixture which retain the water for too long and cause root rot and fungus disease to plant. Avoid at any cost

Bought this, took it home from the local B&Q store, and after the first time of opening, a fungus gnat flew out of the bag. I found many dead fungus gnats in the bag the second time I used it. Never buying this again. I had a terrible fungus gnat infestation after this, I had hundreds of flies all over my house and spent months trying to get rid of them.
really good if a tad over priced

Bought the orchid potting mix as I needed to repot a sad and tired orchid that wasn't looking too good. It seems to have picked up since and so have my other orchids that I topped up with the compost.
